Mountain Rescue
A woman was taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor yesterday (Sunday, October 4) following a report that a woman had sustained an ankle injury while walking on Glyder Fawr in Snowdonia.
Police received a call at 12.48pm and informed the Ogwen Mountain Rescue Team along with Squadron 22 of the RAF.
The woman was airlifted by the RAF to hospital in Bangor.
Serious injury collision
A 34-year-old motorcyclist was taken to hospital having sustained serious leg injury following a collision on the A494 Llanfor, Bala, yesterday (Sunday, October 4).
The rider, who is from the Shropshire area and was riding a Suzuki motorbike, was flown by helimed to the Maelor Hospital in Wrexham following a report of the collision shortly before 2pm.
