South Wales Police in Llantwit Major is appealing for information in relation to three burglaries in one night in the local area and are also reminding residents to secure their homes.
Sgt Paul Revers of Llantwit Major Police Station said,
"This unusual spate of burglaries have all been as a result of unlocked doors or insecure windows and a ladies handbag has been stolen from each.
"We're appealing for information in relation to a burglary on Maes Illtyds street in the Pentre Cwrt Estate, on Regency Close and on Fairfield Crescent, which all occurred overnight on Wednesday 7th and Thursday 8th October. If you witnessed someone acting suspiciously in these areas, please contact us on the non-emergency police telephone number 101 or Crimestoppers."
