All the remaining callouts were for the inshore lifeboat, and involved attending 3 separate incidents of people threatening suicide; towing boats in that had engine failure; assisting yachts into harbour when they were being washed ashore at Kinmel Bay; and assisting the coastguards and other rescue services in recovering a crashed microlite aircraft which had crashed on Rhyl beach opposite the Suncentre.
The last 2 callouts on Sunday 18th were to a Jetski broken down by Rhyl harbour; and a speedboat with 2 people on board, broken down off Colwyn Bay. These callouts are unusual in that this time is traditionally a quiet time for the station, but this year seems to have bucked the trend.
