New Head of Service to join Denbighshire

Denbighshire County Council has appointed a new Head of Business Planning and Performance.

Alan Smith currently works for Conwy County Borough Council as Corporate Modernisation Manager with responsibility for Performance Management and the delivery of major projects.

Alan, who lives in Penrhynside near Llandudno, will be joining Denbighshire on December 1st.

Mohammed Mehmet, Chief Executive of Denbighshire County Council, said: “We are delighted to be welcoming an officer of such good calibre to this new post which has been created as part of a restructure of senior management within the council.

“Alan will bring with him a wealth of project and performance management skills that we can add to our existing expertise in Denbighshire. We look forward to welcoming him into the council and improving the way in which we plan our business and manage our performance.”
